GREAT CUSTOMER SERIVE PPL WITH NO COMMON SENSE.
This is a story from chennai. When there is a connection issue .... you call the so called "24 HOURS TECHNICAL SUPPORT NUMBER" and the answer you get is that "YOUR ISSUE WILL BE SOLVED IN 12 HOURS".
Next... after 12 hours... you call again "MAAM OUR TECHNICAL TEAM IS STILL WORKING ON THE ISSUE - WE WILL CALL YOU BACK".
A day or 2 later... you are irate and want to talk to a supervisor "MAAM THEY ALL ARE BUSY IN A MEETING" - I swear I have.nt got any other answer so far.
3 4 days later "MAAM ITS A FAULT WITH THE LOCAL PROVIDER/DISTRIBUTER.... IT IS OT FROM OUR END" - who the hell is he and how can I contact him? "SORRY MAAM WE DONT HAVE HIS NUMBER. HE WILL CONTACT YOU".
Now I m out of town and came back after 1 week - literally no connection for 10 DAYS!!
Its getting on my nerves.... let me cancel your connection. " MAAM... YOU CANCEL ONLY BYT MAILING US.... WE CANT TAKE THE REQUEST BY PHONE".
Now how is that possible if I dont have internet.
"SORRY MAAM... YOU CAN GO TO A INTERNET CAFE AND MAIL US.. WE HAVE NO OTHER OPTION... ".
Great.... Firstly... I pay you 500 per month for no reason!! then I go to internet cafe to use internet.
ARE THESE GUYS FUNNY OR NUTS. HOW ARE THEY RECRUITED FOR INTERACTING WITH CUSTOMERS? DO THEY HAVE ANY SERVICE SENSE AT ALL? THEY DONT SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH, NEXT THEY HAVE ZERO COMMON SENSE... AND MOST IMPORTANT "THEY JUST DONT PROVIDE SERVICE"
I WONDER HOW THE COMPANY IS STILL RUNNING?
AFTER ALL THIS... I JUST MADE ONE CALL TO SAY I AM GOING TO THE CONSUMER COURT AS THE ABOVE SCENE HAD HAPPENED MORE THAN 4 TIMES IN 3 MONTHS.
AND GUESS WHAT? THAT EVENING I GET MY CONNECTION BACK.
SIFY THINKS CUSTOMERS ARE FOOLS. SO GUYS.... MY ADVICE......... PLSSSS PLSSSSSS PLSSSSSS... JUS TAKE SOME OTHER INTERNET CONNECTION!!
