I am holding a sify broadband connection. The connection is terrible, net remains down for months together, call up sify, they have an excuse, today being sunday, no help, other days, they have a commitment that the same shall be up in 24 hours, leave 24 hours if the net is up in 24 months, we should be thankful to sify, call the cable operator, he is least interested in your internet whether its working or not, I take the package of 256 kbps, it does not work for more than 32 kbps at any given point in time, no replies, if you wite mail, they will simply tender apologies, customer is harassed to an extent that he eithergives up or threatens the cable operator if the net is not up, he would lodge compliant, still no use.
I think either sify should close their operations or start building a healthy relationships by providing desired sppeds and internet services.
Otherwise, I think, TATAs, Reliance and Airtel are not too far.
