I was using Sifys Broadband Internet service till 1 month back and have got so frustrated due to its connectivity issues and pathetic service that finally got rid of it by forgeting my installation amount. In Navi Mumbai there are not many Broadband Internet service providers as compared to Mumbai.
We have shifted recently to Navi Mumbai and still operating from our mobile for calling, therefore MTNL line is still not applied, otherwise we could have opted for MTNLs Triband which I have heard is having good speed and minimum downtime.
Sify is maximum times down, and especially when you need to check something on the net on urgent basis, one just cant rely that you switch on the computer and log on to net. The typical reply from the helpdesk executives is it will take minimum 24 hrs. to make the link up.
The customers need to follow-up several times within 24 hrs to ensure that their technical engineer comes at your place and rectifies the problem. If the Internet user need the net now then whats the use of getting it after 24 hrs. Internet in todays life has become a necessity and if one need to follow-up several times to get the same then its better not to have it. I have got 24-Online (Broadllyne) Internet recently and hope that it does not behave like Sify Internet connection.
