I bought sify broadband six months, and hardly any day pass when I don’t have to call the customer care for reporting one or the other fault, which they repair according to their pleasure, without any hurry in 2-5 days. Internet speed is rarely above 20 kbps (I purchased 64 kbps pack). I hardly can recall a single day (provided it was working) when I would not have to make three to four attempts to logon internet connection. The connection is so senstive to rains that it goes dead for days together even after light shower. Reliability is better left undiscussed, I am never sure that I will be even able to check my e-mail (which regularly checked with my earlier dail up connection). On my reporting of frequent disconnection, there service man suggested that it should purchase on dial-up connection as back-up. So If you wish to purchase Sify broadband better you keep one parallel dialup connection, which you will have to use more frequently than Sify broadband. In nut shell, all you get frustration and nothing else.
