Heading towards doomsday

Dear All,


this is more for SIFY MALL, as sify.com has so much of content you don’t know what to read. Excess of something is more hramful then nothing of it.


Now doing shoppng online for 6 months, I have come across lot of sites, but never such painful site. I’m very sorry to say but that’s the truth. Although sites in India are still developing but this site from one of the biggest ISPs in india is a shame not to any body but to themselves. Just look at following points:


1.)They did not use any secured gateway to process credit card details etc. I don’t see anywhere they claiming to be certified by anybody in the business of security, something like Verisign is obvious in these days.


2.)Their site does not work 60% of the time. How is that in a business which is based on 24*7 service.


3.) Their customer service does not work most of the time, that too page crashes, which could have been removed in testing itself.


4.)They tell you they give option of delivering on the date you want. I gave them order 9 days before the D-Day, when they asked for 7 days lead time. They delivered in 4 days, too prompt but runied the whole thing for me as I gave special instrunctions not to deliver on any other date.


Overall I’ll say rediff is much better, though it has its own problems, but still it is better atleast in ease of use, though that also tests your patience at times. But if saify can sort out issues above they can be the winner.
