SIFY.COM is one of the crappiest site one would come across. While one has to agree for what it offers in terms of content, it is one of the badly designed portals in India, after Indya.com for user friendliness.
SIFY.COM is run by one of the esteemed software firms in the country. What is the use if it does not adhere to the Jakob Nillsen’s rule of web navigability.
SIFY.COM offers good things to look forward to. This is so because they grew inorganically by taking over some popular wensites.
One example if ’’Some AAcchar.com’’. While every one looks for some aachhar (Some pickle) in the form of news, it is the worst news portal one would end up and is a nightmare to read, given its advertisements and the timeliness of updates.
The language tools and the friendliness of local languages are also bad. See Telugu site for example. It is simply crap.
I would rate SIFY.COM as one of the worst portals ever.
