Worst Online Shopping Portal.

Hi,


This is my first review and why I am writing this review is because Sify mall made me totally engraged and frustrated and I decided to share this with others so that they can avoid the same mistake.


I was looking for a digital camera on many online shopping sites  and found a great offer at Sify mall, I readily ordered it as it said that it would be " delivered in 3-5 days usually ".


Now I never knew that sify mall  seldom deliver the products usually and more often their service is unusual.


It took 4 days for the status of the product  to be In process  from pending, although the amount was debited from my account that very instance.I am still wondering what they were doing for 4 days.


After a week more I called the customer care and was stuck in the IVR on wait for 15  inutes after which the call drops, this happened 8 times, finally  got connected to a customer care executive who spoke english aka Hinglish and some other language which was like English is guess, I told him the whole story and he assured it will be delivered in a week’s time. Atleast he gave me a ray of hope.


I waited for a week  then again called the Customer care and had to wait for around 2 hrs with breaks and drops till a guy answered me and again promised me that it will be delivered within a weeks time.I asked him about your site claiming to deliver in 3-5 days and he gave me a answer which I could not understand.


I decided to wait for few more days before I could escalate the issue.


After 18 days  I recieved a mail qouting:


"This is with reference to your order, we would like to inform you that


the product you have ordered was out of stock from our merchant end


which causes the delay in delivering your product.so  We will cancell


the same and the charges will be  reversed".


Now figuring this out takes them 18 days and its been many days (i have lost count of days) since then and I have not recieved the money back into my Account.


Now I also recieved a mail from them saying:


"This is with reference to your order, which  We have cancelled  and the


charges have been reversed. Kindly note the bank reference


no.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX ".


I checked my Account and no  charges have been reversed.


It really does’ nt make any sense of they giving me a reference No., with telling me which BAnk’s reference Number that is .


Now first, the product was’nt delivered and I had to ask them for the same.


Now its like I am fighting to get my own, hard earned money back from Sify mall who is claiming to have reversed the charges.


I would like to request all online buyers to please buy from else where even if the product costs more but please dont buy from Sify mall.


If you buy from sify mall, you buy headache and not the product .


Next time any one needs to be frustrated, engraged, needs a bit of stress and agony. just purchase something from sify mall.
