India is a whisky market, and there are more than 30 odd brands fighting it out. While there is a clear scotch and non scotch divide, Signature according to me, is one brand that truly stands out. It simply cant be compared with any other Indian Whisky.
For the little price you pay, you can indulge in a true whisky experience. Very smooth, it can even be enjoyed on the rocks. Signature has its own signature flavour which makes it really unique. The woody bouquet that greets you when you pour a drink, is something any genuine whisky lover would appreciate. One word of advice, dont please kill the taste by adding soda. Signature is best enjoyed by diliuting it a bit with chilled water.
Personally I prefer it over the more expensive scotch brands. Perhaps 100 Pipers is the only brand that can be compared to Signature when it comes to taste. But this one is McDowell’s best offering by far, for the Indian Whisky market.
Go for it, you will simply love it.
