Hi, I went to a restaurant called sigree on dhole patil road, pune. The place has a very good ambience and good food, but all of it does not let customers overlook the long delays taken to get a table and an even bigger delay to get served. I had gone there for dinner and wanted a table for 4 (four). We reached there at 9.35pm and managed to get dinner only by 11.30pm. It took us almost an hour to get a table. the guys at the counter kept telling us that it would take 5 more minutes so we didnt really think of leaving. but even after an hour of waiting to get a table, when we finally got a table, it took the guys at sigree an hour to get our food and even then they mixed up the dishes. overall it was a very negative experience. there is a lot of staff at the restaurant but still they take a lot of time to serve. hence the long delays in getting a table too. another negative is the water. never let the waiters get you regular water. always go in for bottle(mineral) water. the regular water always has something floating in it. I asked the waiters to change my water thrice and all three times I got water with something floating in it. I guess the waiters and captians/stewards at sigree feel that once they get you a table the customers will shut up and keep sitting. one has to continuously remind them to get the dishes. And this is not a one off case. it is the story everytime I have visited sigree. at first I thought that once maybe since the load was too much the service was extra slow, but the service is extra slow even when there are hardly any diners at the restaurant. overall a very very negative experience
