A revolutionary movie

This movie is revolutionary ... in the sense .... it gave exposure and highlighted the method of Psychological Profiling in solving criminal cases ... its so wildly accepted now .. one feels lost without it.

The story is based on a book .. by the same name if I am not wrong.... if you have read my previous reviews , you would have noted that I refrain from revealing a plot ... I feel it strips the movie of its beauty ... hence I usually dont reveal the plot.

How ever, the parts played by Sir Anthony Hopkins and Jodie foster are worth all the credibility they got. Indeed they were blessed by the roles .. and I feel that they potrayed the roles perfectly. Dr hannibal lecter is indeed one of the most famous characters ever played on the screen .. in the prequel to the movie ... you would aggree with me when I say that ... he is the best villain that hollywood has produced, he has charm, he creates fear .. and he is intelligent par belief........

Jodie foster’s role is that of a trainee in FBI... she has a godfather sorta person in the FBI ... and is ridiculed by Hannibal for that ... how ever she has a very important case handed over to her ... and she knows that others are wrong .. and it is left to her to take the right choice and save the would be victim....... it is over all an enthralling drama of epic proportions of Psychology .. indeed .. very well done .. it deserved all the oscars it one.
