I saw some Ads of silicon house, in digit magazine, and went it for the low cost hosting, it was a reseller panel, I believe we took their services in 2006. but after signing on we came to know of the following things.
servers went offline or non responsive from time to time.
the database services provided by them is really nasty and crashes a lot.
Proper framework support for Microsoft Dot net 1.1 was missing.
Support tickets can be fired off faster than popcorn in a toaster but no one ever responds.
the support techies are rude and half the people have NO CLUE whats going on!
after this kind of service. the only impression I had of them is, of an out of control Freight TraIN HURTLING AT ITS HAPLESS CUSTOMERS at breakneck speeds without any kinds of brakes on it!
There are few companies in India with this bad a service and attitude which markets itself as reliable and cost effective and what not.
