Worst Airline

I made the a very big mistake when I bought super flier package of Air Deccan. The flights are never on time and the customer service is never able to give a satisfactory reason for the delay. The only thing they could say is ’We got this info from operations’.


Well their customer service sucks and their operations dept sucks even more. They delay the flights to odd timings (1.30AM) and don’t even bother to inform the passengers on time.


Last week has been the worse. They canceled 3 flights back to back. When I asked them to cancel my super flier package so I can book the flight on some other airline. But they say they can cancel the package but you would not get any money back. Greeeeaaaat. Seems like I am stuck with this pathetic airline until I have consumed all the tickets in the package.


The customer service reps are very incooperative, unqualified and lack language skills. Last week I had problem booking the ticket online but there was a problem in their system. After 3 days of hassle with the customer service and after talking to 10-12 customer service reps I got the problem fixed. Every rep would ask my detail again and I had to spend 15 minutes to update him on my problem, then he would put the phone on hold , go away for 10 minutes and come back with the same answer that the earlier rep has given me. They do not even have an alternate way to book the ticket if their online system is down.


My recommendation is that never fly Air Deccan even if they offer you free tickets.
