I flew Air Deccan from Delhi to Mumbai. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the aircraft was clean and comfortable. There are no frills provided but one doesn’t need much on a 2 hour flight anyways. One can purchase refreshments on board but they were restriceted to fruit juice tetrapacks and potato chips. Would be nice f they could also serve tea / coffee and sandwiches. The staff at the check in could be more helpful and courteous. I was travelling with an infant and requested for a front seat (near the bulkhead) so there was more room for the child but to my dismay on boarding I found that our request was not accommodated and the front seats were given to people that were not handicapped and did not have infants with them. I felt that our request was not unreasonable and should have been accommodated. Despite that the overall experience was very good especially due to the friendly and courteous service by the inflight crew. Very good value for money!!
