Today I was more than delighted to have got a lucky ticket from Chennai to Delhi and back in two and a half grands (2500 rupees).
Air Deccan surely will make the dream of millions of Indian who could not afford expensive air travel but would die to enjoy one if only the price barrier could have been lowered......
Well for me the story dates back to childhood when I was a die hard fan of fighter pilots in particular and airplanes in general ......would have done nething to just get onto one of them .....then my dad took me and the whole family to Kathmandu form Varanasi and was really grateful to my dad....he cudnt have given me a better bithday gift then an air travel ....next and the last one was when I left one company and joint another. Now far away from home I would just keep wondering when I will go home ..then I heard about Air Deccan .....bingo!!!
I am sure this would be the story of so many people dying to go home but travel expenses and time won’t allow .....so to all those guys n’ gals out there start your booking and enjoy the only-dreamt-of-frequent-flying ...go home ...go places ..... I think India will now see a whole gamut of no-frills airlines in near future ....
Pros : cheaper than other airlines and even III AC
Cons: bookings already for next 5 months or more
