Well, Deccan air thinks just because they are the cheapest airline going they get to treat the passengers like dirt.
I tried booking AIR DECCAN tickets few times on the net. On feb 12 th 2006 believe it or not I spent nearly 5 hours as I had to book 8 tickets and that was a substantial saving to my pocket. I just cant believe that a air line which claims to be a pioneer in aviation can be so stupid and uncaring when it comes to booking tickets.
The whole idea of trying to book on the net is to be economical and fast. If they have a server which is so slow it takes forever to Load. Just to be sure I tried logging on to other airline sites. All are far superior and fast. Fastest was spice jet.
With Air deccan you really dont know when the system will hang- mostly just after you eneter yor credit card details.
Tried booking through the land line, even they can not log on fast. Even ther it takes atleast 10 minutes before you get somewhere.
Well end result was I booked on Air Sahara and travelled with out any difficulty. Not only have the promoters of Deccan air brought air travel within the reach of common man they have brought all the shoddy treatment and service too!!! Unless you have nothing else to do in life but waste time in airline ticket booking lines avoid this airline. If your pocket doesnt permit then avoid online booking. If not your leave will be spent infront of the computer and there will be no need to fly!!!!!!!
