E Fraud by AIR Deccan

I wish to bring to your notice an e fraud committed by Air Deccan Recently when My Wife and child were returning from Jaipur to Bangalore.


I have stated the facts and incidents in cronological format for easy understanding.




  1. That I purchased a ticket having PNR No: DA01104834 in the name of my wife Mrs Jayshree Singhania and my son Master Harsh Singhania on 22.3.2005 through my credit card for the sector Delhi-Banglore. Flight No: 661 date of journey 23.5.05 departure time 7.50 am from Delhi Airport.




  2. That as per the scheduled programme my wife alongwith my son aged 6 years reached Delhi from Jaipur on previous day of the flight i.e 22.5.05 and she was dropped at Delhi Airport by her uncle at early hours on 23.5.05 to catch the scheduled flight at 7.50 A.M.




  3. That even having a confirm ticket, the staff of Air Deccan airlines at Delhi Airport did not allow my wife and son to board the flight on the pretex that the ticket has been cancelled




  4. That my wife gave me a call at Bangalore from Delhi narriting the incident and the treatment given by your staff at Delhi Airport.




  5. That infact I never gave any instruction for cancellation of ticket. By mischevious acts and deeds on the part of Air-deccan ticket was cancelled and the amount was remitted to my bank account without my knowledge and authority and my wife and son were not allowed to board the flight from Delhi to Bangalore.




  6. That I gave a call to my uncles in Delhi and in Gurgaon stating the facts that how my wife and son have been stranded at Delhi Ariport because of gross mischevious acts on the part of Airdeccan.




  7. That my uncles immediately reached the Airport and stated the fact to your staff that there has been no cancellation from our end at ant point of time They further stated that under no circumstances a lady along with a kid will come from Jaipur to Delhi on a previous day of the flight and then to reach Delhi Airport on early hours of the day of flight on a cancelled ticket.




  8. That a request was made to your staff at Delhi Airport to accommodate the passenger of a confirmed and valid ticket holder in next scheduled flight. But they very rudely refused to rectify the misdeeds and mischevious acts of Airdeccan.




  9. When I called up the call centre here in Bangalore I was told that “Mr Singhania” Himself called up to cancel the ticket. I was even made to hear a recorded conversation where some body is impersonating as me and calling up the call centre with the PNR and passenger details. However there are glaring mistakes






• He is calling my Son as HARISH where as his name is HARSH


• It is very clear that he is reading from a paper as he is not able to give the address etc from By heart


• He is identifying himself as MR. SINGHANIA ( I will never call myself as Mr.)


• Now this can be accomplished only by an insider who can access the details over the computer.




  1. Since there was no alternative left, my wife purchased tickets of Sahara Arlines flight no S2-123 at 19:05 hours on the very same date i.e. 23.5.2005 for Rs. 12950/-




  2. My wife and son supposed to reach Bangalore at 10.30 morning reached at 10.20 night on 23.5.05 after suffering mental and physical torture throughout the day attributed by Air-deccan.






I would request all others who are making tickets over the net to be more careful in future and do not be swayed by cheap fares (AS I was....)
