I happened to travel between Ahmedabad to Hyderabad and return the same day. Overall that was my first experience which went well as such, except for a tight sitting space where I felt that travelling low cost may sometimes may not be the best option particulalry when one has spoilt oneself to be on the bulkier side.
The funniest part of the flight however was in the begining of the flight when as soon as the flight took off one of the passengers called the air hostess and asked for water, which was promptly brogght by her neatly wrapped in a napkin. Surprisingly for the newcomers like me and off course that passenger on board the bottle was full one litre. The best part came when as soon as she handed over the bottle to him, she asked for Rs 10/-, beleive me the bottle nearly fell out of the hands of the passenger.
Off course the good thing about them is that unlike other low cost airlines like Spicejet, they offer a wide variety of snacks on a paid basis, so one has the option of flying light or treating oneself to the snacks which are pretty decent and priced reasonably.
Overall, not a bad experience both ways.
