I am an frequent traveller residing in abroad.I travelled several times in the last ten years inside India using Indian airlines, jet airways, deccan, king fisher.The only advantage the airdeccan done to our type of passengers was to reduce the airfare and brought an compettion.All other services are extremly poor in air deccan. You cannot believe me when I say that only in dec, 2005 , I flown from mumbai to coimbatore by jet airways by dashingout rupees 8400 and the same jet air ways has charged me on the same route ( on 9th Feb, 2006) only rupees 2640.Can you imagine? All this happened just because of Deccan. Hats of for that. But?
I am in doubt whether deccan airways may convert the airport to a city bus stand in near future because of their poor service in all , at airports and I am worried whether are they doing any maintenence on their aircrafts, since they are operating their aircrafts without any rest.( Even their MD mr. Gopinath says the flight operation is sucessfull only because of keeping their aircraft all the time in skies). Hence I would suggest the below for my fellow passengers .Please raise the question yourself before booking tickets on air deccan.
What is the compenstaion your family will receive in case of any air michap.Is that any guarranty air deccan will admit the claim? or as usual simply they will pass on the buck to any body. This is nessasary, because when you donot get an response just for the timing of the flight by their staff, do you beleive they will in prompt settling your family hues?
Take an handkey and throw ( unfortunatly the windows are sealed) to get an seat, or otherwise the aircrew will tell you -sir please sitdown wherever seat is available.This happened to me several times, even on my recent trip on 26th Jan, 2006 from mumbai to coimbatore.
3.Take plenty of lemon rice and curd rice to eat inside the craft, since nothing will be available inside even if you are ready to pay.
