I am not a person who expects lot of attention and service. All I want is to have comfortable journey.
I have travelled once in AD that too becoz I had no choice, I had to fly back here in Mumbai soon. I had purchased tickets from the counter itself from Trivandrum. I had no issues over there, counter staff were informative and very patient to hear my queries and answering them too. Flight got scheduled and like the other flight service this one was also a bit late however once I was inside the plane I noticed very evidently how the seats were. Seats were very uncomfortable, i started getting back pain as the seats where fixed(You cant push it back for getting that sleeping position, it rock solid!), the seats got a steel made kind of arm resting thing, it made me believe I am in some wired seat and i would be soon electrocuted! I have flied dozen of times however I never experience such an intense pain in my ears because of change in air pressure, I thought may be I am growing old however my friend whose dada is in technical team of AIR INDIA told me that the way air bus is made makes lot of difference in handling air pressure, temparature etc.inside the plane. No wonder AD bought the cheapest models from boeing.
You have to pay for food and they are no cheap though I believe there should be difference in the food and service after Mallya merged with this bald pal. The plane crew were like any other I have experienced, friendly and ready for providing service. The food is from kingfisher kitchen(I could see the packed food have kingfisher logos) so it was great in taste(not in psychological way, it was really nice!). The pilot flew smoothly and there werent any hollywood kinda experience and weather was also favoring. Flight reached Mumbai on time I expected however my journey was never been so uncomfortable.
I am a guy who nags the least and compromises to some extent but this experience was really bothering. You might act like a friend to me but you know it hurts when you pinch!
