For the first time, reluctantly I booked the tickets on Air Deccan, then the hell broke loose. I’d booked the tickets from B’lore to Chennai for 18th May 2007 scheduled at 2:15 PM and returning on 21st may 2007 scheduled at 1:30 PM.
Now the flight from B’lore to Chennai got "delayed" and was rescheduled for 11:00 PM, talk about punctuality!
Anyways, I’d a meeting at chennai at 6:00 so I couldn’t take any chances and started driving at 120 KM/hr to reach Chennai just in time.
Now the Airlines refunded me the money for onward travel BUT they would not return ANY money for the return journey.
Think logically people, how would I get on the plane on my way back, if I drove to chennai?
Bastards!, hopefully they are OUT OF BUSINESS SOON.
The moral of the story is
NEVER RELY ON AIR DECCAN.
