The Worst Ever Company!

We had booked an Air Deccan  flight from Chennai to Bhubaneswar for the 16th of July 2007. 3 days before the flight, I got a call from them saying that the sector is canceled and the flight is not available. This is Idiotic - how can they cancel sectors after taking advanced booking? Please note, this is not a monsoon driven cancellation or some thing like that. A complete Cancellation of the sector after taking advanced bookings! It was a miracle that we could get tickets(just 3 days before the journey) in Indian Railways(II AC) in such a busy Chennai - Howrah route.


They have one more ridiculous rule that tickets SHOULD be canceled only at the point of Booking - What about one time visitors to a place? Just to cancel a ticket, will they travel to that place?


This flight cancellation is just the beginning of the story. After reaching Bhubaneswar, I had to go a total of 4 times to their booking office. The first three times I was told all kinds of reasons like the ticket booking application is down, No Internet and what not! Finally I did manage to get the refund and they have detected 47 rupees saying that some transaction charge is payable! The 4 trips were made in various times of 4 different days(one day 7 AM the of the day 12 Noon, the other day at 3 PM - all times as per their instruction).


This is heights of  Atrocity and license of Airlines needs to be revoked. If a private Airlines(or for that matter company) can function like this then what is the point in talking ill about Government?


This is the Worst Airline there could eber be. Pls avoid!
