my luggage was stolen after check in by air deccan staff so I m pasting the email which I have sent to the highest authority...give me suggestion on how to go about it............
Dear sir, I travelled in ur airlines in april 2007 from Bangalore to Pune, and upon reaching Pune, i discovered that my check-in luggage was stolen by ur staff.Pune was already a new city for me and I had to stay here alone in my company guest house.All my clothes , confidential official data, plus course books, admit card, identity card for the college and office, laptop, and some expensive things were lost along with the luggage, plus I did not get any help from from ur staff, instead they denied any misplacement / or loss of my baggage.They didnt even know that it has been stolen or misplaced.
They did not inform me about filling the PIR form for the lost baggage (this should be done immediately) and asked me to go back home and assured me that they will inform me as soon as they get it. But nothing like this happenned, I had to call them a number of times.When my cousin went to the Bangalore Air Deccan office to enquire, u r staff abused and insulted him. My career, job, health, financial status all suffered due to this inconvenience, as I am a single girl who is new to Bangalore and came here for a job, and I was relocating to Pune for growth, but when this luggage was lost, even before reaching there, I had to buy each and everything in that new city , and my time was wasted in calling your staff daily to enquire. Till one week they kept misleading me about the luggage.Now I m all prepared to file a consumer case against your company, but before that I would like to know what are ur views about it.Or would you be able to help me in this regard being the head of the company?
