We had a very pleasant stay in Hotel Sinclairs Bay View is located at Port Blair(Andaman Islands, India) in the month of October, 2009. The hotel overlooks the bay and is beautifully located.
The rooms in the hotel are quite spacious and most of the rooms have a lovely view of the sea. All rooms have cable television, attached baths, telephones and room service. The rooms also have tea/coffee maker and the supply of tea and coffee sachets are replenished in plenty.
The food though not excellent, was good value for money. The service was prompt and courteous. We had a really nice time in the hotel. Also, facilities for families travelling with small kids is good. There is a lovely swimming pool and some swings and slides to keep the kids occupied.
The Rajeev Gandhi Water Complex is not far from the hotel from where excursions to different islands like Ross Island and Viper Island can be taken. The hotel, on request, arranges various outings.
All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel for people who want to have a pleasant stay in Port Blair.
