Yes, I happen to travel from Chennai to Kuala Lumpur via Singapore through Singapore Airlines; with a PIT stop and change flights in Singapore.
U get the feelin’ of one thousand butterflies in your heart when you feel that you are going to see your friends back after 8 months. Yes, it was a trip to meet my friends after a long time...
But I hate de crap happening to chennai airport... Most of de Cops in de air port are like corrupted ones... lol ;)...
This is my second time flying in SIA. When I was in my college Year 2000, my first flight back home was SIA. after that I flew a few times back and forth and never got a chance in SIA, now in 2005 I got dis chance.... I guess frm de manual and de size I think its de 777 flight. (please forgive if it’s not right). Mine was no raffles class, juz economy class... ;)
Boarded de flight, in chennai - smooth take off and landing. Verbal announcements are clear. Usual stuff, 5’’ screen, pleasing air hostess, captain giving exact timings and weather. Wide range of channels to choose from. games, audio, video and stuff. Trust me, you will hate it if you travel in Air India or Indian Airlines wid sad music and sad aunties on board. :(
Flying time was 3 Hrs from Chennai to S’pore... Bit of turbulance on de way, was quite ok in 10 mts time...
Food :
Oh yeah ! Oh Yeah ! First Class, I mean First Class food. I opted for Chicken, without any artificial smile, she extended de tray to my side, I asked 4 de coke refil, she gave me the TIN ;). was happy abt dat. ’Em a NO to alchocol, so there was no need for me 2 put my head down for ’’ repeat’s ’’ lol
I asked for de post card, which was given 2 me, I signed it to my Bro-in-law’s address back to Coimabtore and gave it back to her. ;-).
I was given one pack of playing cards and I asked can I have 2 more packs? 5 minutes later she came back wid a cover with 2 packs and a SIA sealed Pen. I was much impressed....
I landed de in Sing, morning 6 local time I guess... lol... Was roamin’ in shangai terminal 1, I had to wait for 2 hrs to board a flight to KL. Was waiting and roaming in de airport... Boarded my flight to KL a small one wid no LCD or any thing... Still friendly cabin crew, no time I landed in KLIA. (Kuala Lumpur International Airport)... Bang Bang Bash !!!!!!!!!!!! There I saw Deepak, Imran and Anuj...... Who were much intrested in de Chivas Regal frm Duty Free dan me ! lol ;)
