Singapore- somethign to learn

I Just been to singapore last month. And to be frank it left me impressed. All these years I had just heard about it .. but now also experienced it . After landing on Changi airport. I was awestruck by the airport. you cannot call it a airport it is a shopping mall which never seems to end. The airport has free internet kiosks, contests going on , all branded shops, well maintained, and as they say first impression is the last. Okk after getting outta airport the tourist bus awaits you which is a excellent bus. ad the guides are good too.. and always have their commentary on and on about singapore. the place is stayed was golden Landmark which is offering a package of 100$ for 2 night s and 3 days.. (dont know if that is still on now) . The hotel is good and reputated one. As far as singapore city is conernced it is a marvel to watch superb construction of towers and buildings, clean roads and greenery even in a concrete jungle . It has a highly civilized city with highly civilised people. The places to watch in singapore is the Merlion (in the city) thats singapore symbol. and next to it The 2 theatres which are excellent. We havent had much experience about local transport as we were in tourist buses.

Eating out :

The Indian market.. which has some really good indian restaurants. Onbe bang opposite Mustafa and one near the lake (damn.. cant recollect the names ).

Shopping :

The places to go in Singapore are China market.. for the really cheap stuff.. For shopping mustafa centre is good if you want everything under one roof. And for electornics Niranjan electronics is best and cheapest bet in singapore.

Places to see :

And if you are in singapore you just cannot miss sentosa islands.. its a bit expensive for indian standards but worth it. Each thing there costs anything above 10 dollars. So if you see the dolphin show, the 3d theatre, the aquarium you would have spent 50 bucks. The best and grand finalle for the singapore would be sentosa islands fountain show which is just amazing and not to be missed. I missed out on the night safari which they say is good too. Cons : Too expensive.. Living in singapore can be killing (financially) . All in all a good place to visit for around 2-3 days .

All and all you will be amazed at the efficeincy of the government and their determination to make their country a excellent place to stay and visit.
