First of all no one likes hanging around in airports ( try Sahar for example), but in Changi it’s the opposite, one should spend more time in it. It has every conceivable provision in it to make the weary traveller forget his blues. It is a bad thing that their immigration procedure takes so little time.
Love the daylight colour lighting in the airport and its walkerlator’s ( if they are called that – please help me with this one if it’s called something else- can’t remember what its called). Infact they should have these walkerlators all over our shopping districts ( especially when shopping with women – no offence meant but facts are facts - say goodbye to walking ). The shopping is good but only if you are in transit cause the main city’s shopping centers are cheaper.
Been there last during the Football world cup and loved the big screens (Plasma) and those Football shaped chairs. They also had a quiz show with its beautiful host named Rita. Did miss my chance to win $1500. Came out second in both the games I played (one of them being a tie – guess who lost ).The only complaint being was that the playstation games set up was not working. (who cares – how many airports in the world have a playstation games in the first place ). The airport is not an architectural wonder but everything is in place. Perfect.

Finally ending out with the Airport being the best place to hang out in – proof given by two UK girls who had to catch the flight the next day and were residing in hotel adjacent to the Airport, were hanging out in the Airport to pass time, its that much fun. ( one of them defeated me in that blessed game ).
