The movie tells the story of Raftaar Singh who does not have any aim in his life. Due to some reasons Raftaar leaves to Goa and his father’s friend runs a casino there. In Goa, Raftaar meets Sara whose father is an arms dealer. Sara is a perfect match to Raftaar in al sense. Raftaar becomes Sara’s supervisor in Goa. But Sara can’t speak Hindi and Raftaar can’t speak English. And to overcome this problem, they have a translator named Emily.
To be frank, I don’t expect much from a Prabhudeva movie now a days. But Singh Is Bliing is slightly better than his previous crap Action Jackson. Other than that, unlike his previous flicks, the female characters have something to perform. This turns out to be a blessing as the female characters were used only for skin shows and foolishness in his previous flicks.
Akshay Kumar steals the show with his comedy timings and action sequences. You could see him in a comedy avatar after a series of serious roles in his previous flicks. Amy was gorgeous and stunning and performed the action sequences with ease and perfection.
Singh Is Bliing is not a complete let down. “It can be considered good only when compared to Prabhudeva’s previous flicks.” But I personally don’t want Akshay Kumar to do these types of movies as his movie selection in the past two years was excellent.
In short Sing Is Bliing is a movie which you won’t regret for missing it from the theatres.
