Being in Kolkata, there is not much options of cable networks. The only cable network that occupies more than 85% of households are occupied by Siti Cable. I had been using Siti cable services for almost 3-4 years and I have suffered a lot which forced me to move to d2h connections. In the review, I am sharing my experience with the Siti services such that readers avoid taking Siti Cable.
Network versatility: Siti provides the worst cable network services. Through out the day, the signal goes down almost every 3 hours. Even if fortunately you do not face such problems, the signal fluctuates a lot which disrupts continue viewing of the channels.
Billing: Siti uses very backdated and unsafe billing methods. They uses a printed card on which they sign every month after they receive the money. No valid receipt is provided nor any online payment system exists. Customers do not exactly know if they are falling prey to any corruption.
Channels: Siti offers three packages of siti basic( ₹118 including GST) , siti family( ₹265 including GST) and siti ultimate( ₹300 including GST) . Thry offer a quite varieties of maximum amount of channels possible but again there is a flaw. Recent unstable relation between the Star broadcasters and Siti Cable, Siti has removed alk the Star channels. Niw we have take add on fir every Star Channels each as high as ₹30. It is extremely disappointing and unethical. Customers are the worst sufferer.
After facing so many problems, I finally decided to move into other service providers and I also do not recommend Siti to anyone.
