I bought my new skoda laura on 17 july 2009 from thiruvananthapuram. I heard about the bad after sale service of marikar motors. But unfortunately there was no other dealer for skoda in this god own country ( kerala ). All my friends said that the dealer marikar motors is waste . But i couldnt have an another way to buy a skoda laura. My fate ...
I met an accident on march 14th 2010, as per the advise of the mechanic mr praveen i ordered the frond bumper, bonnet, reinforcment bumper, skoda emblem with steel plate and the frond grill on 17th of march 2010. They said the availability of parts have no problem because my car is new model. Ask me to wait up to 2 weeks. I parked my car in my house for two weeks with out showing anybody.
On 2nd of april 2010 i went to marikar motors, the mechanic mr praveen was not there, somebody said he went to ourangabad for training, and the sales manger doesnt know my problems and he doesnt know whether praveen order the parts or not . The store keeper come and check my car again, and advise me the same thing that mr praveen said.i again ordered for the same parts. He ask me to come on after 3 weeks.
I again put my new car in my house parking without showing the sad face of skoda laura to any one.i went again to marikar motors after those weeks. But they said it will take more one month.i was augured but i didnt shout to them because i know that they are the only dealer in kerala as monopoly handling skoda . If i do they will give me a nice work on my car , as i am not a mechanic to find their fake work. I heard they may replace parts to their useful costumers at the capital city thiruvananthapuram .
I visited continuously but no effect yet, and i didnt receive any calls from marikar motors for informing that my order will be late., now this is the month of july. I was waiting from the last three months , yesterday the sales manger mr kabeer ask me to wait for more two weeks. I dont have any trust in those people in marikar motors thiruvananthapram .
The problem that i found is:
1) miss management and bad co-ordination of service manger in marikar motors thiruvanathapuram.
2) there is no sudden checking in service section from the authorities of marikar motors.
3) they didnt give me any papers to prove that i have ordered the parts. There is no system like that in the co.
4)they want only sales not the after sales service .( result sale is only luck )
Solutions:
1) remove the sleeping service manger from marikar motors thiruvanthapuram.
2)add some systematic operations for service co-ordination .
3)provide telephone to the service section to call their costumers .
4)ask them to loose their muscles to their costumers.
5)provide some other competitor (dealer) in kerala state.
6)cut the dealership from marikar motors.
I am waiting , my new car worth rs 16 lack is also waiting with me in the parking
