I had purchased Skoda Laura in Feb 2009. After initial hiccups, last month I sent the car for servicing at JMD Nerul, Navi Mumbai. When I went to pick up my car the interiors of the car was soaked in water and emitted foul smell. The service center attendant assured me that the same will vanish in few days, but it never did. Each time I complained about the same with JMD Nerul, they just kept on repeating that the smell would vanish and they couldn’t do anything for it. So fed up of it, I decided to sent my car to JMD Bhandup for second servicing where they told me that they will have to change the air conditioner compressor. Now hardly few weeks after changing the air compressor and the air conditioner has stopped functioning completely and the indicators show engine malfunctioned.
Since then I have sent the car twice to JMD Bhandup and still they are unable to rectify the problem and worse I believe they don’t even know what the exact problem is.
Skoda Auto must understand that though they have great cars to offer, their after sales service is pathetic. In a nutshell there has been a total breakdown of Skoda After Sales Service every in India which is evident of the numerous complaints by Skoda car owners in almost all blogs. As a customer I am being harassed to the maximum due to the laziness and utter unprofessional-ism and disregard for the customer by JMD Skoda.
