Skoda is a remarkable car brand, Rapid is most definitely a conscious effort to bring the Indian people towards itself. It is comparatively more affordable and offers a host of pluses on the terms of appearance, built quality, ride quality, premium features and safety. I have no qualms giving a good rating to Skoda based on these parameters. But as an impartial admirer, I can’t I good faith do so. What the Car lacks is a good after sales service. There is huge dearth of Skoda service centres in India. In my home state of Kerala, there are barely two. There seems to be a massive push for car sales y the dealers and they are least bothered about the service part. Also the cost of spare parts is another big’minus’ Skoda needs to address. Take Care of these issues, Skoda will be an absolute delight.
