I bought Skoda Rapid on 16th May, 2012. The reason of choosing Skoda was very obvious - the Brand Skoda but trust me this brand really does not care for what its customer thinks and expect. Be it after sales service or product quality, till now none has been to my satisfaction. Moreover, till now none of them have bothered to talk to me directly to understand my concern.
This shows the reputation that Skoda has, is all fake. May be dealerships are always scared of giving a strong feedback of the customer but I think you should learn to call an ACE an ACE. This feedback was not casual feedback. I have deep concerns about the choice I have made and to top it up there is no direct feedback mechanism of the company, which even bothers me much more. I was sure the issues if highlighted to the Top management of Skoda (in Germany) then they will definitely take some action. I did send some mails to the Skoda officials too but they are non-responsive too. Till my mail went to them highlighting the issue of Skoda Rapid not shown on the drop down menu of their website for registering the complaint, it was later added. Can you believe by now (8th October) my car has gone to the workshop 4-5 times for wheel alignment problem. The car moves to left after leaving the steering.
This make my right arm ache on long drives. Skoda dealer has given me wheel alignment report but still the vehical moves to left. They are not able to rectify the problem. This issue has been highlighted to them but they just insist to send the car back but when it comes back it has the same problem again. Moreover, be careful while leaving your high end accessories and music system in the car for service. You may find some workshop guys bluetooth configured on your music system. How can a company like Skoda just behave like this. I am surprised and really frustrated with my own decision that why on the earth I even thought of buying a Skoda car. I am gonna drag them to consumer court for sure.
