Well we were contemplating on buying a car in the 23 - 30 lakh segment however not an SUV. So we had only two options either a Mercedes C class or the Skoda Superb (however I had insisted on the AUDI A6 but it was way out of the budget). Well I shunned of the C class as it just shows that you own a mercedes its just a status symbol.
So we bought the new launched Skoda Superb 2.5 deisel (automatic/techtronic gears). Well the car touches 200 easily on the mumbai-pune expressway (did not dare to go beyond). Also the legroom front and back both is just awesome. Also there is an Umbrella drier under the armrest. Well the comforts of the car are equivalent to that of an E 270. Its a luxurious car with value for money.
The car being a diesel car gives an average of 10 in the city and approximately around 13-14 on the highway which is fabulous for such a heavy duty car.
IN SHORT..................the superb is definately value for money and it is a million times better than the C 180/ C 200 / C 220
