Skoda Superb in KUWAIT-My Superb has done 15000 fault free and satifying kilometers now and is due for its first service (yes first) and will wait to see how it behaves after the service.The car has been better than I expected and the Volkswagen touch has done a lot of good to the car. The quality is great.I was comparing the Skoda Superb with the Toyota Aurion (a V6 camry) , as a car for my Wife and came up to the following conclusions- -Skoda Superb is a 6 year old unchanged car while the Aurion is brand new.
The Interiors of the Skoda are however still much better and comfortable even though the Aurion is new (its interiors are like a space ship ; with wood in the range topping model they look mismatched). -The superb has still more features than the Aurion for the given price.- The Aurion has a more sporty ride than the boat like Superb (however sporty for some is not necessarily good)
The Toyota is definately more powerful then the Superb given its extra "cc" and variable valve timing.It was then that it struck me; that its unfair to compare the Superb with the Aurion V6 but a fair comparison would be with a camry 4 cylinder (superb is 2.8 ltr while the camry is 2.4 and the Aurion is 3.6ltr). If you agree then you would see that the Superb is better value than the camry 4 cylinder and it beats it in every category expect after sale, which again is not the most important criteria for everyone.Just for informaiton I did buy the Aurion V6 for the wife !! (didnt want two superbs for sake of monotony)
