Skype Internet Telephony

Hi All,

Recently I was told about skype by one of my friend who lives in US.

I downloaded the software & found it very useful in many ways.

What is skype?

Skype is free internet telephony (From PC-PC) software which is available free at https://skype.com website.

Features:

The main feature of this product is the internet telephony using which we can talk to our friends anywhere in the world.

The other attractions are

Free Chat

Conference Call

Call to regular phones (Payed Service)

File Transfer

The main advantage I found with skype is that the quality of voice ism very high unlike in MSN or yahoo voice chat. I tried netmeeting also. In internet telephony, earlier I used dialpad, net2phone etc. But I will tell u one thing. Skype is the best one compared with other known VOIP s/w. I talked with many friends in US, Singapore etc & found this software more reliable than any other available in the net. This is because of their peer-peer connectivity technique.

I tested it in many way. Same time I tried to talk with my friend over landline phone & skype. The amazing thing is that his sound reaches me first through skype. It is just like a local call & is crystal clear. Apart from PC-PC, we can also make calls to the landline numbers also, but for this we need to pay & buy skypeout account.

Also there is one option to search and find other friends/people who is using skype.

We can also make some new friends using this feature. Also it supports windows/linux/mac OS & even pocket PC now.

When I am writing this review, by the time already 117, 118, 170 downloads are happened from their website. So u can just imagine it’s popularity. Now the voicemail feature is added & we can maintain our call list also.

So I recommend this software strongly for all your internet telephony uses.
