Too much of hype for the Movie "Slumdog Millionaire" has given it a good opening.Nothing but the "Golden Globe" award won by A.R.Rahman has made "Slumdog Millionaire" popular in India.
Otherwise "Slumdog Millionaire" is a movie which just holds a bunch of all negatives found in India. It is a normal Indian Movie with Hollywood touch at the best to be told. They have narrated India as a Slum at the max and it appears that the award given for Rahman is basically to make the people of the world to feel that they have outsourced their jobs to the Slumdogs of India.
The film does not stay in mind for long . It is not the best film to be nominated for OSCAR. But A.R.Rahman scores good in the movie(Though it is not his best.He has given much wonderful music in most of his other movies). His nomination for OSCAR is right and believe he wins the same.
