Ok enough joking around…but then again we are talking about Alcohol…!
My intro to Alcohol was not like a lot of people out there. In fact every time I talk about alcohol and I talk about when and where I really started drinking…people are Aghast!.well I’ll tell you and then you decide
It was time for me to college, and me being the smart one chose to go to a FAR away place so I can freak out…not that I wasn’t doing so at home…**but you know with college come a different kinds freak;)
*My mother got busy telling me for the next three months the Dos and the Don’ts…eat this, eat that, do this, don’t do that …etc etc…you get the idea.
But my dad took a completely different path…he actually sat me down one evening and looked me straight in the eye and said “ I know you are going to be introduced to alcohol and are going to drink. So I rather have you drink at home here….and know your limit” and then he extended a can of beer towards me
Over the years, I had always taken a sip or two of beer when he was having some…**so I had already acquired the taste for the bubbly beverage….!
*So there I sat drinking with dad, and by the time I went to college I was well aware of my limits and had started to drink to enjoy the drink and not to get drunk…….Yeah there was certain times…I would get completely sloshed.Hell Yeah!.but those were few and far between.
So that ladies and gentle men is my introduction to drinking…though my unofficial intro was when I was 6 yrs old…and we were in Germany. While on a wine tasting tour…I remember getting Sippy Happy…on nothing less than Champagne…….*Atleast I had expensive taste…hehehehehe
Now to the Product..
SMIRNOFF ICE……Herby known as the ICE…for the sake of the review
The Ice is a malt beverage…just like beer and also has around the same level of alcohol content
The Original Ice is Vodka mixed with lemonade. It is best served cold…ICE cold! In all these years of drinking this is the best drink …atleast in my opinion. It is cold…bubbly….and goes down so smooth. At the end of a hard day…all it takes is a bottle of the coolest of the cool ICE to blast away all the tension
It is always one of the most popular drinks in all of our get together’s and even the boys try to sneak in one of two of the ICE between their beers .and AWAY FROM THE EYES OF THE OTHER GUYS……coz they have proclaimed it the “Ladies Drink”…for the Girly Girls!

Now as far as I am concerned, my brother is going to college in a few months, and I think it is time for me to introduce him to Alcohol…it is what my father did, and that has brought me to the point where I know myself and my interaction with Alcohol….**Thank you DAD!.you made me a more responsible drinker
So now I am going to do the same for my brother(I can already imagine my mother fuming*)……it is after all the Right thing to do!
