You want the best pizza around, head off straight to Smokin Joes. I have recommended the place to few of my friends, and actually gone there along with them, and they agree with me totally. The ambience is good, like any other pizza joint. They have glass walls on 3 sides, so you can have a view outside while you enjoy your meal. Theirs nothing great about that view though. They have two television sets, and for a change, you dont see one thing on the screen and listen to the other thing, as is the case in CCD and many other places. The menu is in the form of a small sheet of paper, lying on the table. The menu has the usual stuff, pizzas, salads, garlic bread, and desserts. I wouldnt quite recommend the salad there, wasnt that great the last time I had it. And they serve only vegetarian salads.
But the pizzas, they are just too good. Be it the base, which is fresh and crisp, or the topping, which is oh-so-yummy, the pizzas there are a delight. I think its their topping that wins hands down. I havent had such a tangy pizza anywhere else. The service is prompt. Pretty satisfactory. The place is centrally located, on Infantry Road, very close to Safina Plaza. Value for money is decent, a medium pizza would cost you around 200 bucks. Final verdict, the best place to relish pizzas, the only negative point is, they have just one outlet in the city, the other one, Ive heard, is somewhere in HRBR Layout.
