This is a bad experience about smoking joes pizza outlet at sion, mumbai. Their telephone number is 24096969. Now, my wife was out of town and I was kinda hungry. Hence, I called this outlet and requested for home delivery of a medium size mix veg pizza. I called this outlet at 9.15 pm and they said that my pizza will be home delivered in 40 minutes. It was 10’o clock and still no sign of the pizza. Still, there was no sign of the pizza delivery man.
It is not that I was a new customer. I had ordered previously. All these outlets have mobile nos. of the customers stored in their data base and hence ur mobile number suffices if you are ordering from an outlet frequently. So, I rang them and like a neta, they assured me that the pizza delivery man will come in a minute. I waited for 10.30. pm and no one turned up. When I called , they said that the pizza deliveryman had punctured the vehicle and they were giving alternate vehicle. But no deliveryman till 11.00 pm.
Then I called again, they said that the deliveryman had no mobile and could not be contacted. This service is the pits. By the way, their pizza is no great shakes. If you are hell bent on praising, then the prices are a wee bit lower than dominoes, but at par with garcia’s who gives better service.
PS: I gave these fellows another chance and this time they deivered somewhat on time. Guess somebody is reading this review, after all. The pizza quality is also improved somewhat. But they have still some catching up to do to come at par with others.
