Dental Hygiene through Smyle Herbal Toothpaste

A few months ago I wrote about this product but it was in context of Colgate Herbal Toothpaste.

I have gathered more information about the product and feel happy to share with every one.

Smyle Herbal Toothpaste

Modern products for self-applied oral hygiene have their origin in similar products used centuries ago. The basic concept, although refined and extended to improve effectiveness, have not changed radically, but has been made more attractive to encourage compliance with use. The major attribute sought from use of a dental hygiene aid is sound, white teeth. Dental hygiene aids have made major contribution to oral hygiene and provide important health and cosmetic benefits. Tooth brushing is the key in today?s regimen of self-applied oral hygiene measures and has the potential to maintain the dentition in a healthy state.

Oral hygiene practices are designed to maintain the crown enamel, dentin (if exposed) and gingival in healthy states. Maintenance of these structures results in the general health of the dentition, including other hard and soft tissues and the supporting bony structure. The principle disease causing loss of teeth are dental caries and periodontal diseases.

Good oral hygiene and dietary habits are effective preventive measures. If left undisturbed, the carious lesions will penetrate to the pulp and expand to destroy the crown. Similarly unless tended to, periodontal disease will result in inflammation and destruction of the soft tissues surrounding the tooth, and eventual loss of the tooth. Dental pellicle, a film that deposits selectively from saliva, covers the tooth. It is this film to which the bacterial mass (known as dental plaque) adheres and which stains when exposed to chromogenic materials. Dental plaque and pellicle can be removed without damaging enamel of tooth by toothbrushing with abrasive.

Smyle Herbal Toothpaste is designed to restore, maintain the health of teeth and gums and works as preventive measure for dental care. It contains,
