This is regarding the Snap Fitness club in Koramnagala, Bangalore, India.
I have used their service between Feb 2011 and April 2011 and it was a very disappointing experience.
In the cardio section the Air conditioning is not maintained properly. (I run about 7-10K and it becomes extremely hot) I Mentioned this on several (more than 10) occasions to the staff as well as manager in the club.
On various occasions I was told that AC was switched off, or it was under maintenance. When I took this up the third time with the manager, I was told that she would make sure it was all sorted, it never got sorted. Then one day one of the trainers mentioned rather rudely that they could not do anything about it. When I spoke of refund for the charges paid, the manager informed me that they do not have a refund policy. Wow!
So I just quit going losing about 2 months of my payment.
Other issues:
The trainers are more interested in selling personal training than in actually guiding / assisting the members
Posters claim its a 24x7 gym, but its not
Although my membership was supposed to be till june 30’2011 ( I had a receipt to that effect), in the system (which controls the gate access and is displayed at the time of entry) they had it updated only till 15th may and then on my pressing changed it to 15th june, not sure how that helped them, but I found it very annoying)
