SNAP Fitness? SNAPs your money for sure

I am one of those unfortunate fitness enthusiasts who did not research well about this fitness center before signing up. And signing up I did, big time! Five grand for four months, which I paid through my nose! Maybe, like my fellow enthusiasts, I was too enthusiastic to sign up and start working out, so that I can get that lean-mean physique that the smooth-talking receptionist cum sales girl cum manager cum dietitian promised I would, with their "world-class" training equipment, and "highly experienced" trainers, that I forgot to inquire a little more, and find out what they really were. "Our trainers will ensure you lose four to five kilos within four weeks, sir..." she had said. She had also said that the trainers would go the extra mile and call you if you are not regular for workouts. It has been  five weeks since my trainer has even looked at me! Forget knowing my name, I’m not even sure if he knows that I exist! But not a person to give up that easily, I went up to him one day to say a quick Hi, but all he had to reply was, "Ummm?

Oh Hi! Have you taken up personal training yet? I suggest you do, because that is a total different experience! The general training that you’re doing currently is not very effective. Take up my personal training and I will ensure that you lose five kilos in four weeks." And how much does that cost? Another four grand for just twelve sessions!  So what about the "experience" that the smooth-talking receptionist cum sales girl cum manager cum dietician promise initially? I’m yet to find out. And during my course of time there, I realized that Personal Training (PT) is the only way to get a trainer anywhere near you, so I signed up for that too! I completed my first session yesterday, and to tell you that it’s an utter waste of time and money will be an understatement. PT, according to these trainers here, is to give you unimaginable heavy weights and make you work impossible repetitions, while they hang around and watch the fun!  I’m not sure if I’ll even survive the remaining eleven sessions!

So much for all the "experiences" these folks talk about, but I’m hoping I don’t go through a near-death experience while I’m here.
