I ordered two numbers of bigblue 20 inch whole house water filter from Snapdeal. Before ordering the items I spoke to the dealer arbeeaqua from Mumbai over telephone and he confirmed that he has the item as per his description in snapdeal.
When I received the two waterfilters, I found that they were of different type. I informed snapdeal and they sent the courier to collect those items.
The courier man was informed to pickup only one item, whereas my order clearly indicates two numbers. I expalined that to the Courier man and he took them and sent it to Snapdeal with an explanation stating two units are being returned in his bill.
Meanwhile Snapdeal has credited rs.2000 to the so called freecharge account, whereas I have paid rs.4000. Now they claim that I cancelled the courier service to pickup the second item.
I spoke to the courier man and again he confirms of having returned two items.
first of all snapdeal has sent me 1. wrong items 2. no proper records being maintained by them 3. even after the courier man confirms of having returned two items they are still at loss and lost.
I will be taking this matter to the consumer court for 1. Mental agony 2. not returning the money to my bank account
Please avoid these on line people. Think twice.
