Below are email exchanges sent to Snapdeal customtakeouter support, their CEO and COO. All 3 have not had the professional courtesy to reply or even acknowledge one email. This is how great the company is. In a similar vein, we will go all out to support another company Jabong and Flipkart. They went all out to ensure that we are taken care of and our needs addressed.
Snapdeal should re-write the book "In Search of Excellence" and call it the "How to take the customtakeouter for a ride" by Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal. These 2 guys really have a wonderful formula. Confuse the customtakeouter with so much bureaucracy and nonsense remarks from their customtakeouter service people (outsourced to Jasper India) that the customtakeouter in utter frustration will most probably give up chasing them.
They should then write a book called the "3 week company" again by luminaries like Kunal Bahl and Rohit Bansal. Every question to their customtakeouter service team has a parrot response of 3 weeks....3 weeks for accounts dept to issue a check, 3 weeks for accounts dept to stop a check, 3 weeks for accounts dept to send a check, 3 weeks for and so on and so forth.

One of your team members Puneet mentioned that the refund will be taken care of and since then everyday you keep on saying some or the other story. What do you want us to do?

Please find an email from Snapdeal support for a fact that we already
know...that the order has been cancelled. The cancellation happened almost
a month ago and we have been informed about this today J
I am not sure who have you delivered the check to...a point which Snapdeal
keeps reiterating. If I were in your shoes and a customtakeouter says that they
havent received the check, I would:
- Inform the customtakeouter that the check has been stopped from our
(Snapdeals) end,
Reissue a check,
Provide the details of the check to the customtakeouter, like date, bank
drawn on , amount and so forth,
Mention that the check will be sent on XYZ day/date with the AWB,
And the last part is very simple....fulfil the commitment,
Once the check has been received by the customtakeouter, place a follow up
order to the customtakeouter, apologize for the entire incident, and hope that the
customtakeouter stays with Snapdeal.
Our two emails of yesterday have been met with muted sounds, so deafening
that the noise is unbearable. Is this not what customtakeouter Service is all
about....unless they didnt teach any of this in IIT or Kellogg. Our calls
to the customtakeouter support number are met with a bureaucratic response such
that even the GOI would feel ashamed. Some of the responses are - we are
looking into it, our accounts department has been notified, it will take
another 3 months for the check to be issued, we will wait for 3 months to
see if the check has been debited etc. If this is your response, then your
future certainly looks bleak. In any case, if you are still able to survive
that must be at the cost of gullible customtakeouters which I hope arent too many.
