Speedy delivery but cheating on refund policy.

I ordered 2 items from Snapdeal and I found them good in meeting delivery commitments. Next day, I got SMS and they were delivered as promised. Also, they were in good condition. I thought Snapdeal is good as it kept promises.


However, I found them cheating in the case when I had to refund one of those items. They advertise on website as "7 Days money-back guarantee with no questions asked" I had called them the next day only and discussed the problem I was facing - I just asked them for replacement - not even refund.


On the other hand, they asked "SO MANY" questions (BEWARE - ON WEBSITE THEY CLAIM THAT THEY WILL REFUND WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED AND CALLING IN 7 DAYS) and then they mentioned that they will not give refund - they have policy that they replace electronic items only for faulty/broken products and size/color mismatch for apparels (in these cases also, they only give replacement or repair and give it back).


This is clear case of cheating and these terms and conditions are mentioned but hidden on Snapdeal website. So, please read them carefully to understand that there is "NO REFUND" policy as you can never get any refund practically.


Generally, you will have some refund policy even in small stores and malls - it is absolutely required in e-commerce websites where you need to purchase based on item’s photo and without any interaction.


With this experience, I would be always careful not to order online - at least from Snapdeal as without refund policy, you may lose money anytime as I lost now.
