No service offered despite numerous followups

I am a regular online shopper, and have done transactions with a no of online stores like e-bay, flipkart, Ibibo, Inkfruit, indian gifts portal etc. I had heard quite a lot of snapdeal.com and hence thought of giving it a chance but currently I am having a very bad experience with the portal.


I had ordered a Genius traveler 6000 wireless mouse on 03/12/2011 with order ID 236839591. I recieved it on 09/12/2011, but it was not working at all. I have tried it on different Laptops running on different OS but to no avail. The drivers are getting installed successfully, but still it was not working. I left a email for support using the contact us section on their website on 10/12/2011, but nobody contacted me till now. Than, I left a feedback on their facebook page.


Within a hour I received a email and comment on my feedback asking me to forward the details on reachout@snapdeal.com and these guys were smart enough to send me a mail that my query has been resolved. Does merely replying to a query can close a query? Nevertheless, I forwarded the details to them on the mentioned ID, but still nobody contacted me. Post that I have dropped a followup email and comment also, but these guys does not seem to be in any mood of listening or resolving the query.


They are even worst than Indian Gifts Portal, those guys were atleast answering the query and tracking the same. I think, I have lost my money with them and hence warning u all to think before buying any product from these guys. I am sure, I will not be coming to their site again, neither will I recommend anybody to them.

Also Ankit when you make a purchase on Snapdeal, you are covered with Snapdeal guarantee. We understand your concern but please be assured that we will never keep our customer's money with us. This is not how we have build our organization. We have a clear heart and the very essence of all our customer policies is to deliver good service leaving our customers satisfied. We do fail at times but with thousands of transactions taking place in a day, technical and manual errors are bound to happen which we are trying to minimize by building better systems and logistics. Once again we are really very sorry.
