I have placed orders from many online shopping portals before and have never faced such lousy support or service from any other site except snapdeal and another horrible site called ezmaal. About snapdeal: There is nothing wrong with their site or the products that they display. Most are actually cost effective and budget oriented and appeal to all consumers. The problem lies with their shipping and customer support. When I placed an order earlier this month for a pair of slippers, i was hoping to get them delivered just the way it looked on the site. to my surprise, the footwear that I had asked for came in the wrong pattern for one pair and wrong size for another.
As required, I called customer care and politely told them about the errors. Here began my problems: First up, the agent spoke little or no English, had no idea what I was saying and kept saying "ok" for every third word he spoke. Somehow we managed to understand each other and he asked me to provide a picture of the wrongly sent product to help@snapdeal.com, which I did. A few days later, I did not get any response to my problem, so I called them again. They said I had to send them a picture taken by a camera, not the one seen on the site and I did so and sent it to them. Again, a few days later there was no response, so I ended up calling them one more time. This time was the worst time. The agent on the line kept blaming me for not sending the picture (i already had sent it), insisting that they had tried contacting me, and treated me as though I had made a mistake in calling them. also he kept saying that they were not responsible for any mistakes that happen during shipping!!
He then went on and on about how I should contact this courier and that courier to send the product back to them and that it will take more than a month to either get a refund or the correct product. I lost it!! I have no intention of ever ordering anything from this site ever again, as they have the worst customer support ever.
