Snapdeal is Fraud

I am putting a review after long time for my order 2394834865.


I placed this order using my SCB credit card which offered 20% cashback if the transaction amount was more than 1500. I purchased the footwear for value of 1997 and even after waiting for 2-3 months, they didn’t refund my 20% cash back to my credit card. On further mailing and calling, Initially they asked me send the credit card statements. Even after mailing them the statement, they didn’t refund the 20% amount. On further questioning, they first keep on saying it will be credited, and later they said I was not eligible for the refund. I was furious as:




  1. Why the hell did you asked me for card statement if I was not eligible for that on first instance.




  2. There was no other terms and condition which could have disqualified me from the offer and even I double checked about the offer from the customer care.




  3. They were giving bulls*it reason that I used my 133 points for that order and that’s why I was no eligible for refund.




  4. but even after deducting 133, my order value was 1864, which is much beyond the 1500 amount(conditional amount for 20% refund).




  5. After that I never ordered anything from snapdeal, as they eaten up my INR 500/-. The amount is not big for me, but may be help these beggers.






Later even I had words with their senior manages but all were barking the same line again and again like pet dogs of snapdeal. I kept on arguing there were no other terms and condition while I placed the order. In fact in first few interaction they denied for any offer on credit card, but when I insisted, they looked in their offer history and agreed that yes there as 20% cash back offer.


I was so frustrated as they asked me to prove each and everything on the offer and in fact I was proving. But they kept on finding some different excuses and never agreed.
