So I wanted to buy sunglasses and was browsing online for the best deal, after comparing through various websites I found that Snapdeal was offering the best price so I ordered 2 sunglasses as separate orders and here is what I feel about the website:-
Positives:
Competitive prices- The deals are good and in close competition with Amazon, Flipkart and Jabong; in my case one product was 500 bucks cheaper than others on a 4500 Rs product and other was 300 less on a 1900
Payment Options- They have all the payment options including COD and they don’t charge extra for it as well
Timely- The products/orders were delivered within the stipulated time of 5-7 days.
Product- Both the products/orders were in a perfect condition with all the boxes, guarantee card and decent packaging.
Negatives(Or rather areas of improvement):
Courier Partner - They could use a better courier partner, or redexpress is definitely not a good one, once a wrong parcel was delivered to me and for one of the 2 deliveries this time I was having lunch and asked the guy to wait for 2-3 mins and his reply was that I can’t in a very rude manner.
Variety - I browsed through the website’s clothing section to see if there is anything interesting I can buy but couldn’t find much variety.
Improved Delivery Time- The product and was delivered on 5th day as against other websites delivery time of 1-2 days
Conclusion - For me the only USP for the website is price, that is I will only choose Snapdeal over Jabong or Flipkart only if Snapdeal will be offering better price; at the same time I will be confident that my order will be ok.
