Faulty Micro SD Card Received from Snapdeal

Update 2: Order refunded. Will never buy again from Snapdeal. Pathetic CS.*


Update: **Snapdeal arranged a reverse pickup for the item today (now that was fast, less than 24 hrs of registering the complain). So far so good...


I recently ordered a 16GB MicroSD card (Order No. 525384926, Item Code:  53683192 Brand: Strontium) from Snapdeal. It took them 6 days to deliver the same (fair enough, although other similar websites take 2-3 days at max). I immediately opened the same and tried it with my new Motorola Atrix 2. But the card didn’t seem to work, the phone couldn’t recognize it. Then I tried it with my Nikon D50. The camera didn’t recognize the card as well. Finally I tried to open the the card with my laptop. Here also, no luck.


I called Snapdeal customer care regarding the same issue. The CSR lady was polite, she took time to understand the problem and promised that the issue will be looked in 24-48 hrs.


I am hoping to get the card replaced or the amount to be refunded as soon as possible.


At times products may be faulty, can’t blame Snapdeal for that, but at the same time it is the responsibility of Snapdeal to resolve the issue ASAP. Just expecting that the complaint resolution do not take the same long time as their shipping. Lets see how it goes.
